Paraules amb més d'un significat
fly: volar o anar molt ràpid

Gerunds
Gerunds: adore, hate, love, like, enjoy, fancy, feel like, (don't) mind, finish, go, keep, ignore, involve, miss, stop.
Preposició + gerund / by + gerund / subjecte d'una oració.
Infinitius
Infinitives:
Verb + to infinitive: plan, agree, aim, appear, arrange, choose, decide, expect, hope, learn, need, offer, promise, refuse, tend, want, would like.
Verb + OI + to infinitive: advise, allow, ask, expect, help, forbid, get, want, would like, need, promise, remind, teach, tell, authorise, encourage, would prefer.
Verb + OI + infinitive: help, make, let, hear, listen to, see, watch.
Adjectiu + to infinitive / propòsit.
Verbs amb gerund o infinitiu
stop to smoke: parar de fer alguna cosa per fer-ne una altra
stop studying: deixar de fer aquesta activitat
forget to meet: no hi he quedat
forget meeting: hi vaig quedar però se'm va oblidar
remember to lock: em vaig recordar de fer alguna cosa
remember locking: recordo haver fet alguna cosa en un moment determinat
regret to tell: he de fer-ho però no vull
regret telling: desitjaria no haver-ho fet
try to study: fer un esforç
try studying: és un experiment
mean to tell: tenir la intenció de fer alguna cosa
mean telling: expressa el resultat d'una acció
Temps futurs
Future Perfect Simple: per dir que alguna cosa estarà feta abans d'un temps futur (I will have finished by Friday).
Future Perfect Continuous: per dir quant de temps hi ha estat en progrés alguna cosa (By next year I will have been studying for ten years).
